1994: Kim missed half of the season after sustaining a back injury that required surgery. Before her injury, she distinguished herself as an outstanding defensive right fielder. Although she missed half the season, she tied the team lead in assists by an outfielder.

1995: After her near career-ending back injury, Kim returned on fire. She tied for the lead in hits (32) and tied for third in batting (.221). She also led the team in triples (1), tied for second in doubles (5), and tied for third in RBIs (12). She hit .357 during her 12-game hitting streak and led all outfielders with six assists.

1996: Finished the season ranked second in eight categories, including hitting (.291), doubles (12), and slugging percentage (.400) ... knocked the team's first out-of-the-park home run in history on July 21 in Cape Cod, MA, a shot that went 320 feet over the left field wall ... Finished the season with a career-high 14-game hitting streak (August 2 - September 8) ... Batted .455 with 21 RBI, seven doubles and two triples during her streak.
